What materials and equipment are provided by the host hotel?
For your recruiting table, Con Ops will arrange for you to be provided with one folding table (like this), two folding chairs (like this), one brass standalone easel (like this), and one signboard with the convention logo and the name of your production company. For your game, you will have an empty conference room near a water station, with folding chairs lining the perimeter of the room. You are responsible for providing everything else that will be needed at your recruiting table or for your game. There are electirical outlets available to LARP Floor exhibitors, but there are only a few and these must be shared with other exhibitors, so plan to bring an extension cord and a surge protector if you require power for laptops or other electrical devices.
Where can we store our exhibit materials during non-recruiting hours?
At this time, Dragon*Con does not provide a dedicated lock-up in which LARP Floor exhibitors may store materials or equipment during off hours. This is something that the convention hopes to be able to provide for us in the future but is unable to provide at this time due to space limitations. We will send out an announcement and update this page when this situation changes. Until that day, however, you are individually responsible for the safety and security of any equipment you bring to the show.
